Bergamot Oil Soothing Bath Bomb
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 1/4 cup Epsom salt
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2-3 teaspoons Coconut oil
- 15-20 drops Bergamot essential oil
- Dried flower petals
Directions:
Combine the baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and Epsom salt in a mixing bowl. Mix well to ensure even distribution of ingredients. In a separate small bowl, mix the carrier oil and Bergamot essential oil. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients while continuously stirring. The mixture should hold together when pressed, similar to wet sand.
If you’re using dried flower petals, gently fold them into the mixture. Pack the mixture into bath bomb molds or silicone molds. Press down firmly to compact the mixture. Allow the bath bombs to dry and harden for at least 24 hours. You can speed up the process by placing them in a cool, dry place.
When you’re ready to use one, fill your bathtub with warm water and drop in the Bergamot Bliss Bath Bomb. As it fizzes, the wonderful aroma of Bergamot will be released into the air. Step into the bath and immerse yourself in the soothing scent. Take this time to relax, let go of stress, and enjoy the tranquility. Rinse Tub: After your bath, rinse the bathtub to remove any residual color or botanicals.
