For the chocolate pear loaf:

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe pears
  • Vegan chocolate chips

For the chocolate sauce:

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with coconut oil or line it with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
