Ingredients:

Gluten-Free, Vegan, Serves 6

  • 3 ripe pears, peeled and chopped
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoons fresh turmeric, grated
  • 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup pear juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Coconut water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh pear slices and lime wedges, for garnish

Directions:

In a blender, combine the chopped pears, grated ginger, grated turmeric, honey or maple syrup, cayenne pepper, ground cinnamon, and lime juice. Blend until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust the sweetness and spiciness level if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup and cayenne pepper.

Fill each glass with ice cubes and pour the pear mixture over the ice. Top each glass with sparkling water, leaving some space at the top for garnish. Garnish with fresh pear slices and lime wedges, if desired.
