Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup shea butter
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons sweet almond oil or jojoba oil
- 15-20 drops peppermint essential oil
- 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
- Clean, dry jars or containers for storage
Directions:
In the double boiler or microwave-safe bowl, melt the shea butter and coconut oil together until fully liquefied. Stir well to combine. Once melted, remove the mixture from heat and add the sweet almond oil or jojoba oil. Stir well to combine. Allow the mixture to cool slightly but not to solidify. Once the mixture has cooled slightly, add 15-20 drops of peppermint essential oil and one teaspoon of vitamin E oil.
Stir well to distribute the essential oil evenly throughout the mixture. Carefully transfer the Peppermint Cooling Foot Cream into clean, dry jars or containers. Make sure the containers are clean and dry before adding the cream. Allow the foot cream to cool and set completely at room temperature. This may take several hours, depending on the ambient temperature and the size of your containers.
