We started talking about these Japanese fish that will fake an orgasm for the soul purpose of having an unsuitable mate leave, so that they can continue looking for the elusive “Mr. Wright”.
That’s right guys you heard me, a fish that pretends to be satisfied with their overall experience with the soul purpose of getting through it quicker. That got us thinking about all the ways we fake satisfaction for the soul purpose of getting through it quicker. We have all done it.
One of my most resent examples is when I tell myself that roasted eggplant tastes just like bacon when you add the right seasonings. Nothing tastes like bacon! With bacon there just ain’t no faking! What are some of the lies you tell yourself to get through something you don’t want to do quicker?
Wouldn’t it be nice if we didn’t have to fake it tell we made it? The good news is that there are some cases in which we don’t have to plaster a fake grin on and bear through it.
If you would like to know how to re-wire your thinking or have fun and creative ways to reach your goals, without having to fake joy let me know. Together we can find ways to achieve true happiness: with where we are currently at and where we want to go.
